Our History in The Making
2017
insurance products have low penetration in indonesia. The long process of applying for insurance, or claiming the benefit becomes an obstacle. To answer the challenge, FUSE launched a mobile app in February 2017 to make insurance easily accessible to everyone and cut the long journey through Platform-as-a-Service that is used by partners.
2018
FUSE achieved seed funding in Q2 and Q3 and launched a microinsurance that enables varied e-commerce to sell insurance protection products to users.
2019
Become the only Insurtech with a holistic ecosystem. In the same year, FUSE achieved tremendous growth and gained funding in Series A from East Venture Growth & SMDV.
2020
The pandemic crisis has been successfully transformed into a great opportunity by FUSE and Partner. As a result, through FUSE Pro experienced growth of 250% and reached a GWP of more than 48 Million USD.
2021
- In 2021, FUSE was selected as the exclusive insurtech partner by Tokopedia.
- The company was also recognized as one of the Top 100 insurtechs in the world by SONR and EY.
- FUSE successfully secured three rounds of funding – a Series B, an Extended Series B, and a Series B+ totaling over 50 million dollars funds.
- The company ended the year with a gross written premium of 105 million USD, making FUSE the only insurtech in Indonesia with the greatest volume of business.
2022
Fuse Vietnam has achieved 5 million policies.
2023
FUSE officially launches in Thailand.
